Want a Rich Life? Break ALL the Rules Says New Author Christine Comaford

Christine Comaford-Lynch is my new Networlder to watch for October. Why? Because she epitomizes the entrepreneur who wants to make a difference.

She is also a five-time CEO and company founder—and all five businesses grew to be either acquired or taken public. She has 20 years’ experience in operational high-tech positions with Microsoft, Lotus, Adobe, and Apple. She has assisted 700 of the Fortune 1,000 companies and 300 small businesses in accelerating innovation, and has consulted with the Clinton and Bush Administrations on tech and small businessstrategies.
Rule 6: Learn to Love Networking

ules For Renegades Synopsis

WANT A RICHER LIFE?
BREAK ALL THE RULES.

Renegade entrepreneur—and runaway success story—Christine Comaford-Lynch has lived the kind of life most of us can only dream about. From model to monk to multi-millionaire, she has always gone after what she wanted—and gotten things done. She’s won, lost, worked, played, and every step of the way, she’s written her own rules.

Now Christine is ready to tell her story. In ten outrageous life lessons, she’ll show you how to make your dreams come true. Your way. Your rules.

One of Christine's Rules -- Network of Course!

The handshake is my favorite method of non-verbal information gathering. How you respond and how you interact with people speaks volumes about both you and them… Leaning against the creamy wall of the White House ballroom, I’m watching President Bill Clinton work the crowd…As I walk away from the White House to my hotel I reflect on this experience. I wondered what did my handshakes say? How often was I just going through the motions, not really connecting with the person, but interacting with whatever they represented to me – or whatever my snap judgment had determined? I decided to change, then and there, as I walked along Pennsylvania Avenue, wind whipping my overcoat. I decided to take that risk, that leap, to shed my social mask and show others myself. Maybe they’d show me who they were in exchange.
